Quantum Optoelectronics

Presentation of the Quantum Optoelectronics group

The activity of “Quantum Optoelectronics” group is focused on the study of the electronic and optical properties of semiconductor materials and nanostructures, with an important expertise on the spin physics of electronic and excitonic states.

The research covers a spectrum of activities ranging from basic research to applications and valorisation, with a strong involvement in training through research and teaching.

The team’s scientific strategy consists of developing original spectroscopic investigation tools, often combining spatial and temporal resolution, to analyze nano-objects or semiconductor materials developed by molecular beam epitaxy by our partners in France. or abroad, by chemical synthesis at the LPCNO and CIRIMAT, or by mechanical exfoliation and transfer in the group
