The laboratory is composed of 5 groups of research
The laboratory has 5 research teams
Physical and Chemical Modelization
The team wants, based on well-established skills, to develop lines of research related to experiments in the synthesis of nano-objects and/or their magnetic and optical properties. It is based on original methodological developments.
Nanostructures and Organometallic Chemistry
Our activities concern the synthesis, characterization and exploitation of the properties of nanoparticles and their assemblies
Nanotech
The Nanotech team from the LPCNO develops innovative techniques of directed assembly of colloidal nanoparticles synthesized by soft chemistry on rigid/flexible surfaces or to form self-supported membranes. The final objective of such developments is the realization of nano-devices exploiting the original properties of those nano-objects.
Nanomagnetism
Our group is specialised in the study of properties of magnetic nano-objects synthesized by organometallic chemistry. Several approaches are combined for these studies : magnetometry, micromagnetic simulations, transport measurements and magnetic hyperthermia measurements.
Quantum Optoelectronics
The activity of "Quantum Optoelectronics" group is focused on the study of the electronic and optical properties of semiconductor materials and nanostructures, with an important expertise on the spin physics of electronic and excitonic states.
