Led by the CEA’s IRAMIS and LITEN institutes, and by the LPCNO and LGC laboratories, the Nanostructured Magnets project aims to develop a new generation of magnets, made from abundant materials with remarkable magnetic properties, for the transport and energy sectors. The work carried out could allow us to move away from the use of rare earth elements and reduce the environmental impacts associated with their production.
