Stéphane Faure

Équipe 4. Nanomagnétisme , Post-doc

After graduating from the University Paul Sabatier (Toulouse) in 2006, he did his PhD thesis at the Groupe d’Etudes des Semi-conducteurs in Montpellier. He studied the exciton-photon strong coupling regime in bulk ZnO-based microcavities. In 2009, he joined the Arakawa & Iwamoto Laboratory (Tokyo University, Japan) and led a project on the growth of spatially localized quantum dots by in situ patterning process. In 2014, he spent a year at the Research Center for Low Temperature and Materials Sciences (Kyoto University, Japan). He worked on the improvement of the signal to noise ratio inside the detection chain of a Nuclear Magnetic Resonance setup. Since September 2015, he is a member of the Nanomagnetism Group at the LPCNO Laboratory. His research focuses on the nanoscale temperature measurement on magnetic nanostructures heated by alternating magnetic fields.
