Équipe 7. Nanostructures et Chimie Organométallique , Post-doctorante

Post-doctoral researcher at Laboratoire de Physique et Chimie des Nano-objets (LPCNO) since September 2020. My current work is focused on the synthesis of magnetic nanoparticles, chemical ordering in binary and ternary alloys (Fe, Co, Ni).

Professional experience:

September 2020 - present: Post-doctoral research at Laboratoire de Physique et Chimie des Nano-objets (LPCNO), Toulouse, France.

June 2019 – December 2019: Visiting graduate research fellow at University of California, San Diego, USA. Synthesis and characterization of catalytically active Pd(0) and Pd(I) species with highly sterically hindered NHC.

December 2015 – April 2020: Graduate research fellow at Universidad de Alcalá, Madrid, Spain. Synthesis and characterization of paramagnetic Pd(I) complexes ,with ligands as NHCs, tertiary phosphines, cyclopentadienyl derivatives. Reactivity and mechanistic studies of the complexes with small molecules. Synthesis and characterization of organometallic derivatives of Pd(0) and Pd(II) with water-soluble NHC ligands. Homogeneous catalytic essays with the Pd-complexes: Suzuki-Miyaura, Buchwald-Hartwig, cross-coupling of aryl-antimony and aryl-boron nucleophiles.

April 2016 - April 2020: PhD in Chemistry at the Department of Organic and Inorganic Chemistry, Universidad de Alcalá, Madrid, Spain.

October 2012-July 2012: Master in Chemistry and Advanced Chemical Methodologies at the Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Università di Camerino, Italy.

October 2009-June 2012: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry at the University of Galati, Romania.
