Véronique Gigoux is an INSERM researcher since 2002. She got her PhD in Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology in 1999 at the University Paul Sabatier of Toulouse.
She spent her PhD research in the laboratory INSERM-U531 of Digestive Biology and Pathology. She spent a post-doc in the laboratory INSERM-U266 of Molecular and cellular Pharmacochemistry, in Paris, where she has been recruited as INSERM Researcher.

She joined the team Receptors and Therapeutic targeting in Cancers in 2005 where she develops actually different strategies of targeting and eradication of tumoral cells (such as magnetic hyperthermia) using magnetic nanoparticles and studies the molecular and cellular mechanisms of tumoral cell death in relation with these therapeutic strategies.
